Magnet wire, insulated electromagnetic wires wound wires

Electromagnetic wires used to make motor windings can basically be divided into two categories: enameled wires and wound wires, in addition to inorganic insulated electromagnetic wires. Improve the electrical and mechanical properties of the magnet wire, improve its solvent resistance, heat resistance, and reduce the thickness of the insulation, which can greatly increase the slot full rate of the motor. The slot full rate is the ratio of the total cross-section of the conductor in a slot of the motor to the cross-sectional area of ??the slot, or the filling factor of the slot. This value is of great significance for reducing the volume and weight of the motor.

(1) enameled wire
Enameled wire is much thinner than the insulation thickness of winding wire, so it can increase the slot full rate of the motor and reduce the volume of the motor. The enameled wire coated with synthetic lacquer has high mechanical strength, smooth surface, easy to wire, so high-speed automatic winding can be used, which improves labor productivity and reduces labor intensity; in addition, its thermal conductivity and moisture resistance are also better than winding The covered wire is good, so enameled wire is widely used in modern low-voltage motor manufacturing.
In addition to good electrical properties, the enameled wire requires the paint layer to have high mechanical strength and scratch resistance, and at the same time it must be soft, with good elasticity and bending properties. Enameled wire must not only be able to withstand the erosion of impregnating paint, solvents, refrigerants and oils, but also have good thermal shock resistance when working at high temperatures for a long time.
As enameled wires for general motors, mainly polyvinyl acetal enameled wires and polyester enameled wires.
(2) Winding wire
Wrapped wire is an insulated wire made by wrapping natural fibers, synthetic fibers, alkali-free glass filaments or thin films for conductors. From the point of view of the composition of the insulating layer of the wrapped wire, there are one-layer or multi-layer wrapping, and some wrapping layers use adhesives.
(3) Inorganic insulated magnet wire
Inorganic insulated winding wire is a magnet wire insulated with inorganic material, such as oxide film aluminum wire. In electrical manufacturing, aluminum is used instead of copper. In addition to the production of various glass-filament-clad aluminum wires and enameled wires, oxide-film aluminum wires are also one of the main varieties. The oxide film aluminum wire has a higher working temperature (200¡æ~300¡æ) and a certain mechanical strength. At the same time, the adhesion between the aluminum oxide film and the wire is also good. Due to the micro-pores on the oxide film, in order to improve the electrical performance in the wet state and the mechanical performance during processing, the oxide film is generally sealed with high-temperature paint.

A magnetic wire would have to contain some ferrous material for a magnet to attract it. A magnet wire is an insulated, single wire strand wrapped in some fashion of a coil to enhance its inductive properties; i.e. microphone, speaker, transformer, etc¡
