Enameled wire industry September and October operating rate decreased
According to SMM survey data, the operating rate of enameled wire in September was 71.32%, down 8.28% year-on-year, down 1.82% month-on-month, and 1.65% lower than the expected 72.97%. Among them, the operating rate of large enterprises was 71.56%, down 0.69% from the previous month; medium-sized enterprises fell by 4.06% to 71.50%, and small enterprises fell by 0.55% to 60.83%.
The operating rate of the enameled wire industry in September dropped as expected, and the decline was larger than expected. As the main production bases of enameled wire such as Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Guangdong have been affected by power cuts since late September, this has caused a greater impact on the output of enterprises. Loss. In addition, the decline in its own orders is also the reason for the lower operating rate:
1. The home appliance industry was still in the off-season in September. According to industry online data, the output of major air-conditioning companies in September was about 10.59 million units, a month-on-month decrease of 2%, which was a smaller decline than in August.
2. Although the automobile industry’s production increased in September, according to data released by the Automobile Association, the production of automobiles in September increased by 20.40% from the previous month to 2.077 million. However, it has not yet been transmitted to the automotive-related automotive wiring harness and micro-motor industries, and the number of orders has not increased in September.
3. The production and sales volume of the power tool industry is still declining in September, and the demand for motors is declining. In addition, enameled wire companies in some provinces and cities were still affected by environmental inspections in September, and their production capacity could not be fully exploited.
But there are also positive aspects: it is reported that orders from the transformer industry have increased, and the number of orders for industrial motors has also recovered. All in all, the September enameled wire industry was still in the off-season, the operating rate continued to decline, but it also began to show a positive side.
Due to the obvious decline in production, the company’s raw material inventory has not decreased significantly, which has caused the raw material inventory ratio to rise. According to our statistics, the raw material inventory ratio of the enameled wire industry in September was 11.68%, an increase of 1.18% from 10.50% in August.
